CEFR A1 – C2

General Spanish

From your first words to fluent, confident conversation. A speaking-first Spanish course in small groups of 8 — on campus in Santa Monica or live online.

Overview

Speak Spanish from lesson one

Our General Spanish course is built around one idea: you learn a language by using it. From the very first lesson you speak, react and think in Spanish — grammar and vocabulary are the tools, not the goal. Every group is capped at 8 students, so you are never a spectator.

A free placement test maps you to the right CEFR level, and your teacher gives you written progress feedback every week. Most students move up a level in 10–12 weeks. Prefer to compare formats first? See all Spanish courses at Lingua Nova.

What you'll gain

By the end of your level, you will be able to:

  • Hold natural conversations on everyday and work topics
  • Understand native Spanish speakers at natural speed
  • Write clear emails, messages and short texts
  • Use grammar accurately without translating in your head
  • Feel confident — not anxious — when you speak
