The SLAtech Education assistant answers these automatically 24/7 on your school website.
How does the placement test work?
Every new student takes a free 15-minute placement test, online or in person. It checks your listening, reading and speaking so we can place you at exactly the right CEFR level — no guessing, no cost.
What levels do you teach?
We teach all six CEFR levels, from A1 (beginner) to C2 (mastery), across general English, plus dedicated Business, Kids and exam-prep tracks. Your placement test tells us where to start.
How many students are in a group?
General and Business groups are capped at 8 students; kids' groups at 6. We also offer 2-student intensive and fully one-to-one formats.
Can I study online instead of on campus?
Yes. Every course runs both at our Santa Monica campus and live online, with the same teachers and small groups. You can switch between the two or mix them week to week.
Is there a free trial lesson?
Yes — your first trial lesson is free and with no obligation. Ask the SLAtech Education assistant for available slots and it will book you in right away.
How do payments and payment plans work?
Group courses are billed monthly and exam tracks per 8-week track. Interest-free instalment plans are available on request at no extra cost — just ask the assistant to set one up.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. On completing a level you receive a Lingua Nova certificate stating your CEFR level. Exam-prep students are prepared for official IELTS, TOEFL and Cambridge certificates, which are awarded by the exam bodies.
What happens if I miss a lesson?
No problem. Online lessons are recorded so you can catch up, and on-campus students can join the matching online session or a make-up class. The assistant helps you reschedule.
