Attendance
Student participation tracking. SLAtech Edu can read attendance from the LMS and surface attendance status to students.
COPPA
Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (US, 1998). Restricts collection of personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. SLAtech Edu products are not directed to children under 13 without upstream school-side consent workflow.
Cohort
Group of students progressing together through a course or programme. SLAtech Edu's assistant can route cohort-specific announcements and Q&A.
Course-prerequisite reasoning
Multi-hop reasoning chain across course prerequisites (e.g. CS-201 requires CS-101 which requires Math-100). SLAtech Edu's assistant walks the prereq graph to recommend course sequences; generic chatbots dump the full catalog without ordering.
Curriculum / syllabus
Structured plan of course content, learning objectives, schedule. SLAtech Edu's assistant surfaces syllabus answers to student questions instantly — "When's the midterm", "What's the textbook".
Deadline / due date
Submission deadline for assignments. SLAtech Edu's assistant surfaces upcoming deadlines in reminders and handles deadline-related student queries ("When is my essay due".

FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
